Hi and a big warm welcome to Aligned Health!
It is my passion as a chiropractor to provide you and your family with the highest quality care available and exceed your expectations. My goal is to help everyone I see improve their quality of life and empower you with an understanding about how your body works so that you can make the best decisions possible about your own health and well-being; Health by choice and not by chance. After all, your health is your greatest wealth!
My aim is to identify and treat the cause of your ailment in a way that is effective, gentle and safe for people of all ages. I believe that treatment should:
Be cost effective
Include appropriate communication with your GP
‘Chiropractic is a health profession that is involved with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of neuromusculoskeletal disorders and the effect of these disorders have on quality of life and general health; especially complex disorders pertaining to the spine’.
– Dr. Adam Wild
Dr. Adam Wild is a 5 year university trained chiropractor graduating with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic. Before Dr. Adam came to the Central West he had been tutoring 1st, 2nd and 3rd year Chiropractic skills at Macquarie University, treated and created rehabilitation programs for Olympic Weight Lifters from the NSW Institute of Sport and the Australian Olympic Games Head Coach (1996-2008) for Olympic Weight Lifting; Luke Borreggine. Dr. Adam loves his work and travel and he has done his best to combine the two; living and working around different parts of Australia. This includes practicing in Sydney, Adelaide, the Sunshine Coast QLD and he has spent time working along side medical practitioners in the South Coast of NSW. Dr. Adam Wild relocated to Canowindra NSW to help improve the spinal health of the community; a needed health service for this area.
Dr. Adam’s unique way of practicing treats the body as a whole. ‘No muscle or joint can work in isolation. For example, you can not grab something without first stabilising your spine and then moving your elbow and shoulder to position your hand. This is why it is important to look at the body as a functional unit and not just at the painful site.’ Dr. Adam’s clinical interests include chronic pain, headache, sciatica, migraine, disc injuries, and sporting injuries.
